Happenings :: NOW

A few really nice things are happening with people I know. First, my good friend and favorite art conversationalist, Andres Verzosa, director, owner and founder of Aucocisco Galleries in Portland, Maine, is celebrating the opening of his beautiful new space in the Old Port section of the city.

A long time anchor of the Portland Arts District in it's former location on Congress Street, near the Portland Museum of Art, Aucocsico Galleries represents a range of focus through mid career and emerging artists, estate works and private collections, including my friends: Grace DeGennaro, Kathy Bradford, Dozier Bell and Jessica Gandolf. To one degree or another, gallery artists ascribe to a common inspirational bond with the state of Maine.
